How Pushkar Mahbal navigated the slippery slope between reality andtruce in ‘Black White & Gray’

Plus: Reviews of ‘Gram Chikitsalay’, ‘Maria’ and ‘The Royals’. Here are this week's top stories from The Reel.

The Indo-Pak conflict has caused the week’s major Hindi film release,
Bhool Chuk Maaf, to be postponed to May 16. The Groundhog Day-style
comedy, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, will now be streamed directly on Prime Video on April 16. This is a time for couch
potatoing (and avoiding bellicose TV channels).

Black White & Gray on Sony LIV (those who haven’t, should) might be
curious about how the filmmaker spun a double-weave narrative that

have the understanding, time or IQ to appreciate nuance. This is
happening with general content too, which angers me. So I guess my
frustration came out through the show.”

Maria Callas, is finally available on Lionsgate Play. Does the film
have any attractions other than Angelina Jolie?

After last week’s Kull comes another show about aristocrats clinging
on to their privy purses. The Royals stars Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi
Pednekar.
